Self-esteem: today improve you self-esteem with some simple exercises
Today I want to offer you some exercises of self-esteem in order to improve it even more.
In recent weeks, I’ve written several posts about self-esteem; after I received many emails of pointing, that had motivated me to propose even today some useful exercises to improve self esteem
- Exercise 1: Self-image and Self-esteem. When is about exercises of self-esteem is very important to understand that there is a close connection between self-esteem and awareness of our level of self-esteem.
We start therefore from the body.
Put yourself in front of the mirror and start looking at your face. Pay attention to all details: the look, if your skin is smooth or not, your lips, every detail.
How do you feel like? Well-being? Malaise?
How is your breath when you trying to think about yourself? Is it broken? Checked?
Now do the same with the rest of the body. What is your feeling watching you? Is it a good feel? What are the parts of your body that you don’t like? Try to accept them, saying: “these are the parts I don’t like and I accept them anyway!”.
Pay attention at how your body immediately relax in time of acceptance. And that’s how, doing this exercise several times, you will find the important relationship between self-acceptance and self-esteem. This is the first step to improvement.
Start with a positive attitude puts the preconditions for an easier work on themselves. - Exercise 2: Create a new “habit”. Try to create a new habit, even small. A new “habit” accelerates the process of change.
Change always sends a positive picture of himself and increases self-esteem in terms of perceived self-efficacy. - Exercise 3: Take care of Yourself. Taking care of your body increases the state of wellbeing. That will be reflected in the psychological sphere resulting in increased self-confidence.
The old saying “Mens sana in Corpore sano” goes well with the concept of self-esteem. - Exercise 4: Take care of your External Appearance. Take care of your external appearance, dressing well, fixing your hair, beard and all aspects related to the look means send to others, and also to themselves, a good self-image.
That does mean nothing but give a sense of positivity and therefore self-confidence. - Exercise 5: Stop procrastinating and make a list of positive things. Take the action! Make a list of positive things that you do daily. Doing that at the end of the week you’ll realize how many good things you have done.
All this will do nothing but increase the optimism and confidence in yourself.
Procrastination is the typical attitude of one who has low self-esteem.
Therefore, train your desire to do things, your desire to achieve the goals.
All this will change the way you see life and, most important, it will change the way you’ll see yourself.
In many situations, for example, can be truly decisive work with a good Coach.
I hope these exercises of self-esteem can be useful for you … ad maiora!
