Renowned for her exceptional diving career and for representing Italy in five consecutive Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to Rio 2016, she began making waves in the sport at just fifteen years old. Standing out on the international stage, she won two Olympic medals—a bronze and a silver—and reached the pinnacle of her career with gold at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, becoming the first Italian woman to achieve such a historic victory in diving. Her impact on the sports world was so profound that the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) honored her by including her in the Walk of Fame of Italian sports. This prestigious recognition is reserved exclusively for the most distinguished figures in Italian sports, those who have left an everlasting legacy through their extraordinary achievements, leadership, and contributions to the sports movement. Her career is the result of unwavering commitment, extraordinary talent, and unmatched resilience, qualities that have elevated her to an icon in the global sports world, enriching her record with 10 World Championship medals and 20 European Championship titles. Throughout her career, she faced countless challenges, including moments of extreme pressure and stress, which taught her the crucial importance of a strong mindset. These lessons led her to become a Sports Coach, dedicating herself to passing on her knowledge to young athletes. Following motherhood, she forged a meaningful collaboration with the Italian Swimming Federation (FIN), working to develop mental resilience in young divers—a key skill for handling competition stress and performing under pressure. Through her work, Tania continues to be an inspiration, proving that success in sports relies as much on mental strength as it does on physical ability, paving the way for future generations to achieve excellence.
